Thank you for all the memories and the laughs over the years, John. Thank you for being so respectful for Grandma and Mum's funerals. It meant a lot. You are a true gentleman. xx

Right, now to the funny story......!!!

John and Carole, very kindly, offered us the limousine for our wedding car, as our wedding present. We thankfully accepted. The car was beautifully decorated, clean and stunning. Craig and I wanted to do the traditional thing of arriving at the reception venue before our guests, so that we could greet them as they arrived. We had the photographs at the church and then we quickly left. However, John clearly forgot it was not a funeral procession and drove at a super slow snail pace. As we were on the motorway, everyone was driving past up and slowing down and waving at us!!!! When we got to the reception (eventually!), everyone was already there! I suppose we already greeted them on the motorway first......!! 

Rest in peace, John. You are a truly special man, and have left a huge amount of special memories. Thank you for being such a good friend to my Mum and Dad.
