Memories of the Freemantles at Hill Head Sailing Club 1975 and onwards.

Created by Shirley 3 years ago

When my Mum and Dad, George and Joan Wren, first moved to the South coast in the 70s, they joined Hill Head Sailing Club to sail and race their GP14. They soon got to know and were made welcome by John and his father Doug. They regularly raced their GP against John and others. Subsequently I too became a member and befriended John and Carol.

John was a quiet thoughtful man who was respected and liked by all who knew him. His departure will be a great loss not only to his friends and family but to the whole village of Titchfield and the surrounding area.
